Requested Credit Card info to accept the call

I signed up to get college information that was perfect for my background after answering questions, and you have to leave your phone number so they can call you.

Attempted phone sales to my cell phone

Called and left no message as to what their call pertained to. Our phone # is listed on the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRY; yet we continue to get annoying phone calls from unfamiliar corporations like this one.

I.D.'d as Ziff Davis - I answered and after a short delay (probably a predictive dialer) a lady asked to speak to a person who was not here at the moment. I asked her who was calling, she gave me a female name only, and curtly asked again if the individual was available. When i offered to take a message, she curtly told me she would call back, and hung up.

This number called me five times in a row, with no space to breathe between calls. They did not leave a voicemail. I tried to call that number back but I got a strange recording... Not really sure what this was about?
